Life Events - when do I really need a Will?

We recommend that everyone over 18 years of age should have a Will. But there are certain times in your life when it is particularly important to make a Will or revise your existing one:

  • If you get married or intend to get married

  • If you separate from your spouse or partner and you believe the separation will be permanent

  • If you get divorced

  • If a person in your existing Will dies or becomes incapacitated

  • If you purchase a significant asset/investment

  • If you get involved in a new business, company or trust

  • If you change your name or anyone in your Will changes their name
