Your Service Provider
Each Legalmart® online service is provided by a Law Firm that is part of the Legalmart network. We call them ‘Lawyer Affiliates’. We are very choosey about the Lawyer Affiliates we select to join our network. They must:

Be fully registered and insured as an Australian law firm
The Legalmart® service that you buy has been provided to you by a Lawyer Affiliate who meets the above criteria.
Technically speaking, you should know that your contract for the purchase of the
Legalmart® service is with the Lawyer Affiliate who provides this service. A profile of this firm and the key Lawyers who developed this service is
included in the left hand margin.
Legalmart® is only the commercial agent for your Lawyer Affiliate for providing their services online and collecting fees.
Legalmart® is not itself providing legal advice.

Terms and Conditions of Use
Here’s where we talk about some technical legal stuff. We need to set out clearly at the start what everybody’s rights and obligations are. This is the basis on which we provide this service to you.
1. Your service is limited to 10 minutes of a Lawyer's time
The online consult service includes up to 10 minutes of your Lawyer Affiliates time in reading, assessing and responding to your enquiry. Legalmart and the Lawyer Affiliate do not guarantee a definitive answer or solution to your query. If your enquiry involves complex concepts or requires more detailed examination, then the response that you receive will indicate this, and will seek to provide you with some helpful pointers. You may then choose (at your option) to request a quotation from your Lawyer Affiliate for providing a full answer or proposed solution to your legal query.
2. You have Solicitor/Client privileges
When you access this service you have all the rights and benefits available to you in the conventional client/lawyer relationship and your Lawyer Affiliate is responsible to provide you with correct and relevant legal advice based on the instructions and information provided by you.
However, because the service relies on your input of information and actions, Legalmart and your Lawyer Affiliate is not responsible for any difficulties or damage suffered by you as a result thereof. We take no responsibility for:
a. Information incorrectly provided by you;
b. Any actions that you have been advised to take as part of the process but which you fail to take;
c. Circumstances past, present or future that exist or arise without your Lawyer Affiliates knowledge.
3. Service only applies in your Jurisdiction
Your Lawyer Affiliate is only registered to practice law in your jurisdiction and so the service provided is applicable only to that jurisdiction. Users who choose to use this service for other jurisdictions do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations.
4. Legalmart® information not to be re-sold or re-published
You may download any of the information, documents and other matters from the Legalmart® Website, whether such material is provided FREE or as part of a service you have purchased. However, Legalmart®, its Lawyer Affiliates and other related professionals reserve their rights (including but not limited to copyright) in relation to your reproduction of such material for the use and benefit of others. Use of such material for re-sale, re-publication or use by a third party in any form without express written permission is strictly prohibited. If you are in doubt, just email or telephone us and ask.
5. No disclosure of information without your consent
You hereby agree to allow Legalmart and its staff, and your Lawyer Affiliate or your other professional Affiliate, access to all legal documents and other material generated via the Legalmart online service.
Legalmart® and its Affiliates agree to be bound by the terms of its Customer Policy. Legalmart® and your Lawyer Affiliates hereby agree that all your information and material received via the Legalmart® service or otherwise will be kept in the STRICTEST CONFIDENCE and will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent. However, you may authorize Legalmart® or our Affiliates to disclose information to Third Parties to assist you with current or future matters or areas of interest either by clicking the appropriate boxes on this site or specifically in correspondence.
6. Indemnity
You also hereby agree to indemnify and keep indemnified Legalmart, its Lawyer Affiliates and other professionals from all or any liability or damages in contract, tort or statute (unless contrary to the provisions of such statute) as a result of accessing information or using the documents from this site and in relation to Legalmart itself absolutely even in the case of relying on advice from the Lawyer Affiliate or other professionals as Legalmart has no contractual or professional relationship with you.
7. Refund Policy
We believe that you will enjoy this online service and save time and money using it. We cannot provide a refund in the event that you do not like or agree with the response given by the Lawyer Affiliate, Legalmart will consider giving you a full refund if in its discretion it feels the circumstances warrant it (for example if the response is totally inadequate or the response is delivered late).
8. Legalmart may Pay Referrer Fees
The customer acknowledges and accepts that Legalmart can and does provide referral fees to businesses and persons (such as Real Estate Agents, Webmaster affiliates and other professionals) who refer work to it. Such referral fees will vary from time to time and may be different between different referrers. Any such referrer fees in no way increase the price of the service offered to customers.
